Founder & Director
Joel Phillips
MS, OTR/L, CLT
Joel is the founder and visionary of Kasyris Management and Consulting. He also serves as the Director of Occupational Therapy at the Family Health Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
His work has served to bridge the gap in placing OT directly within the primary care team model. His clinical focus include hand rehabilitation, pain management, lymphedema management and scar remodeling. Joel brings a rich background of clinical experience, leadership, professional and program development to Kasyris. Joel is a service leader within the community in which he lives and continues to be a catalyst for change and growth while consistently working towards improving the human condition.

Occupational Therapist
Charlene Erickson
MS,OTR/L
Charlene graduated from Western Michigan University with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. She specializes in intensive rehabilitation with complex conditions, such as stroke and brain injuries with a focus on adults and geriatrics. The majority of her experience includes inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient rehabilitation for both adults and children.

Sandin Kekic
OTD, OTR/L
Sandin completed his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Wayne State University and went on to complete his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Michigan. He is certified in the McKenzie method and has experience working with children who have learning disabilities, as well as those on the autism spectrum.

McKenna Duffy-Mullins
MS,OTR/L
McKenna graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services and a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy.
She completed Michigan Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (MI-LEND). Also, she is a proud member of the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association
She specializes in pelvic floor therapy, dry needling, pediatrics with a musculoskeletal focus, pain management, and functional movement training.

Skylar Groenhout
COTA/L
Skylar is a dedicated member of the occupational therapy team, providing skilled care across both outpatient and acute care settings. Known for her compassionate approach and commitment to patient-centered care, Skylar has clinical interests in neurological rehabilitation, cognitive and visual rehabilitation, and upper extremity conditions. Her passion for helping patients improve independence, regain function, and achieve their personal goals makes her a valued member of both her team and the patients she serves.

Sarah Koch

Sarah earned her Associates of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy Assistance from Jefferson College in 2015 and her Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Western Michigan University in 2024. She specializes in nutrition education and has extensive experience in geriatric care, stroke rehabilitation and conditioning.

Known for her enthusiasm and well-rounded approach to patient care, Krih has a clinical interest in and enjoys the treatment of upper extremity conditions. Her commitment to providing high-quality therapy and her passion for helping patients regain strength and functionality make her a valued asset to both her clients and colleagues.

Laura is the Administrative Assistant at our Patterson location. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and supports the team by assisting with patient communication, insurance verification, and administrative needs. Laura is passionate about helping ensure patients receive the care they need while providing valuable support to both patients and staff.

Rayna Hutchinson
Rayna is a dedicated member of our administrative team with over 30 years of customer service experience. She earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science with a focus in Human Resources from Davenport University. Her extensive background includes 15 years as a Shift Manager at McDonald’s, where she developed strong leadership and team management skills, as well as experience in patient registration, billing, and coding at Family Health Center. She brings valuable administrative knowledge, professionalism, and a commitment to providing excellent support to both patients and staff.
